Role Overview

The Consultant position offers excellent career and growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated professionals. As a Consultant at Ridgeline Health Group, you will work closely with team members on client engagements to:

  • Define the client's problem including critical issues and underlying causes
  • Synthesize comprehensive primary and secondary research to enhance team knowledge base and support the development of client recommendations 
  • Structure analytical approaches to provide actionable client insights and recommendations using complex data sets 
  • Develop client communications, clearly visualizing analytics and succinctly communicating key findings and recommendations 
  • Effectively communicate and engage with team members and to push forward client engagements, relationships and other deliverables 
  • Display strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
What We are Looking For

Consultants may be based anywhere in the United States and will be given broad responsibility on projects, interacting with client and driving the creation of deliverables. While specific duties will vary based on previous experience, the ideal candidate will have the right mindset, skills and experience, such as:

  • 0-2+ years of consulting experience or relevant healthcare experience, required
  • Advanced degree, preferred (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH)
  • High achieving, self-starter with a demonstrated history of taking ownership, expressing a willingness to learn and grow and cultivating curiosity to accomplish short and long-term goals
  • Humble, team-player attitude, excited to dive into the details and support larger strategic conversations to push recommendations forward 
  • An analytic mind that is comfortable manipulating and synthesizing data
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications to target audiences 
  • Existing knowledge of healthcare landscape and current trends in healthcare
  • An ability to work well under pressure and respond to evolving requests 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Flexibility to travel as required (30-60% expected) 
  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency

  • Demonstrate expertise in structuring and guiding analytical approaches to provide actionable client insights and recommendations using complex data sets
  • Develop client-ready communications, clearly visualizing analytics and succinctly communicating key findings and recommendations
  • Build and maintain consensus with clients on case goals, critical issues, workplan, implications, recommendations, and implementation plan. Develop and secure client commitment to recommendations and implementation plans
  • Lead team of junior team members to ensure effective prioritization and client outcomes
  • Effectively manage professional development of junior team member through setting development objectives and providing regular, actionable performance feedback
